How much time does it take in activation of a SIM card?

The process of activation starts after digital KYC is submitted at the time of delivery. Once digital KYC is done, the time of activation will depend on the type of connection i.e. prepaid, postpaid or MNP.

Prepaid takes 15-20 minutes for activation.

Postpaid connection takes 72 hours.

MNP takes 7 days for activation.

The activation time will also depend on operator’s verification and approvals.

How do I know that my number is activated ?

For Prepaid new SIM connection: Insert the SIM after 20-30 mins of delivery. On receiving signals on your new connection, complete the tele-verification process by dialling 1977 for Jio,1507 for BSNL/MTNL and 59059 for other operators. After completing tele-verification, your FRC will be done automatically from iDesireGalaxy.

For Postpaid new Connection: Insert the SIM after 72 hours of delivery. On receiving signals at your new connection, complete the tele-verification process by dialling 1977 for Jio,1507 for BSNL/MTNL and 59059 for other operators. Make sure you have undergone address verificationand you are ready to use your postpaid connection.

For MNP: After successful porting to prepaid/ postpaid connection which may take upto 7 days, follow the same process as mentioned above for prepaid/postpaid.

What should I do if my number is not activated?

If your number is not activated under given TAT by operator, you can call operator helpline and confirm the reason for the delay.

What if my request has been rejected by the operator?

A request can be rejected by operator due to multiple reasons. To know the exact reason of your porting/new connection rejection, you can contact the operator. Also, you can reprocess your order any time at iDesireGalaxy by calling us at +91 1800-313-2688 or write to us at: support@idesiregalaxy.com.

My SIM is activated, but I have not received my first recharge yet. What should I do?

After you have inserted your SIM, check signals on your new connection. If you get network strength on your connection, dial 1977 for Jio,1507 for BSNL/MTNL or 59059 for other operators to tele-verify yourself. Tele-verification is a mandatory step to avail first recharge benefits onyour phone. Once the tele-verification is successful, your connection will be recharged with the benefits.

My number is activated but I am not able to tele verify by dialing the mentioned tele verification number. What should I do?

In case you are not able to tele verify your order please check you are dialling the correctnumber i.e. 1977 for Jio,1507 for BSNL/MTNL and 59059 for the rest of the operator. Please ensure you have network signals on your phone while you are dialling the tele verification number. If you are still facing troubles, contact the new operator as activation and tele verificationare catered directly by the operator.

What to do if my recharge is done but I am not able to use or get the benefits?

In case your recharge was successful but you are not able to use it or not able to avail the correct benefits, please raise your concern at support@idesiregalaxy.com.

Note: Plans mentioned on the website can be changed by operator.

What if my first recharge is failed?

In case your recharge failed please reach us at support@idesiregalaxy.com. One of the executives will get back to you at the earliest possible with required solution.

How I can cancel my order at iDesire Galaxy ?

At iDesire Galaxy you can simply call us at +91 1800-313-2688 or send an email to support@idesiregalaxy.com with your order details and cancellation reason.

When I can cancel my order ?

Currently you can cancel the order at any time before delivery executives start their journey to deliver your order.

Can I cancel my order after delivery?

Once you have received your SIM card you cannot cancel your order. You can contact us at our support helplines for any issues with delivery/activation or recharge.

Will I get a refund for my order?

In case of any issues with your order, you may get a refund if you fall under refund eligibility.

How can I initiate or claim my refund?

To initiate your refund, send us your order details, cancellation reason and bank details at support@idesiregalaxy.com.

How will I get my refund?

If you have paid online you will get your refund on your source account. In case you paid through cash on delivery or Paytm, you may choose a refund through NEFT or Paytm.

How much time does a refund take?

In case of online payment you will get your refund within 1-2 working days once refund is initiated. In case you have paid in cash and you have chosen NEFT as your refund method, will get a refund within 1-2 working days once refund is initiated. If you choose paytm as refund method you get your refund within 1 working day once refund is initiated.

What is MNP or Porting?

MNP/ mobile number porting is an excellent way to move to a better connection without changing your current number. As per TRAI guidelines, by using this service you can switch your existing mobile connection from one operator to another operator.

What is the process for MNP?

At iDesire Galaxy, we follow the process for MNP as laid down by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India).

To port your number online at idesiregalaxy.com:

  • Start by generating a porting code. To do so, send an SMS to 1900 with the text: PORT˂mobile number˃. (This code is valid till 15 days. You can regenerate the porting code after 15 days if required).
  • Now place your porting request at idesiregalaxy.com. Choose a connection type and plan for your new connection and then fill in the delivery details.
  • Share the code and required documents ˂document list˃ with the delivery representative.
  • Your number will be ported to new connection in 7 days.
  • Complete the verification process to activate your new connection.

Do you have any delivery charges?

No we don’t have delivery charges, delivery is free for most of the orders.

How much time will it take to deliver an order?

Delivery of your order will take 60 minutes or will be delivered as per your desired time slot. In rare conditions of bad weather, there can be a slight delay in delivery of orders.

What is the process defined by the TRAI for activation?

You can buy a new connection or port number to the following:

In order to activate your number, you need to follow the following process:

  • Provide original ID proof that needs to be digitally submitted
  • Live image in white background to be clicked at the time of delivery.
What if I am NRI or a foreign customer?

If you are an NRI, you should have documents of the city where you want a connection as required by TRAI guidelines.

Foreign customers may not be able to get a SIM card delivered from iDesire Galaxy but the same might be available for them at a physical store.

Product Details

Prepaid

If you want to buy a prepaid connection, all you need is your original ID. Your SIM will be activated within 1 hour of your SIM delivery. If the documents submitted are incorrected, your number can be rejected by the operator

Postpaid

If you are opting for a postpaid connection, you should have original copies of the valid documents.

Postpaid takes 48 hours for activation which includes your tele verification and address verification. If your tele verification and address verification fails your number can be rejected by the operator.

MNP (Mobile Number Portability)

MNP also known as mobile number portability or porting your number from one operator to another operator.

MNP allows you to switch your network from your existing network to a new connection. It takes about 7 days processing time to port your number to a new connection.

To start the porting process, you will need to generate a porting code that is required at the time of delivery.

In order to port to a different operator you must ensure that:

  • You have spent at least 90 days in the same connection
  • You should have paid all your dues for postpaid connection
  • You should have paid an extra usage amount for 7 days of porting process if you are a postpaid user.
Fancy Number

If you are opting for a postpaid connection, you should have original copies of the valid documents.
